The Palazzo Pubblico, or Government Palace, dates back from the 15th century, but was largely changed in the 19th century. There is a bronze statue of Saint Marinus perched in one corner. Stone blocks from Titano caves were used in its construction and the façade proudly shows the republic's coat of arms. The square in front of it is named Liberty and so is the statue, from the 19th century.
