Perkins Observatory

|
| Founded by retired hog farmer Hiram Mills Perkins in 1923, the Perkins Observatory is the place to be for stargazing in Delaware, Ohio. Once home to the third-largest telescope in the world, the Perkins Observatory was forced to move its prized 69-inch viewer to Flagstaff, Arizona as a result of light pollution and low land elevation. Their 32-inch replacement, however, is still a great way to get in touch with your "universal" interests and far more practical for Columbus' unpredictable weather patterns. |
