Opened in 1938, in Oklahoma, the Philbrook Museum of Art was Tulsa's first art museum. It exhibits the historical home itself, art collections, and beautiful gardens. The home was built in 1927, and some rooms still have the original furnishings and decor on display. Others house art collections from all over the world. Be swept away by Italian Renaissance paintings, captivated by Native American artwork, and inspired by 20th century American art. Be sure to explore the 23 acres of beautiful gardens outside.
