| This important Zoroastrian fire temple is on a hill 52 km to the northeast of Yazd. Pir-e Sabz attracts thousands of pilgrims for an annual festival which lasts for 10 days from the beginning of the third month after Norouz. To visit, it is best to get the permission of the religious authorities at the Atashkadeh in Yazd. |
