| The Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, located in San Jose, California, houses the largest collection of Egyptian, Babylonian and Assyrian artifacts on the West Coast, including objects from pre-dynastic times through Egypt's early Christian era. The collection includes human and animal mummies, pottery, sculpture, scarabs, utensils, jewelry, textiles and a full-scale replica of a tomb. Seals and tablets from Sumeria, Assyria and Babylonia are examples of the earliest-known writing. |
