Built in 1889 by Josip Vancas and inspired by the Notre Dame cathedral in Dijon, this cathedral is the center of Christian worship in Sarajevo. It is located in the heart of the city, where the main Catholic, Orthodox, Muslim and Jewish buildings can be found within a few hundred metres of one another.
