The Sarek National Park is a national park in Jokkmokk Municipality, in the province Lapland in northern Sweden. Sarek borders to the national parks Stora Sjöfallet and Padjelanta. It is an alpine park with arctic characteristics. Large areas are devoid of vegetation, consisting of boulders, snowfields and glaciers. The foremost sights of Sarek are the alpine landscape with its sharp peaks, glaciers and narrow valleys, the animal life and the delta areas in Rapaselet and Rapadeltat.
