The beautiful and sacred Taktsang Monastery located about 20 minutes drive north of Paro is a must see. The place where the Guru Rimpoche flew over the Himilaya from Tibet in the 7th century on the back of a flying Tigress is said to be the origin of Buddhism in Bhutan.
