Timbertown is a popular attraction, depicting the colonial era of northern New South Wales. It is located at Wauchope in Australia. Timbertown is an interactive museum which has been enjoyed periodic success as a family-friendly tourist attraction. John Abi-Saab presided over the early implementation of the Timbertown Tourist Project. Timbertown was official opened by the Governor of New South Wales, Sir Arthur Roden Cutler. It has enjoyed mixed success during its operation. Currently it operates as a themed entertainment / retail precinct.
