Turkish House (Kajtaz)

| The Kajtaz house is overseen by Mustafa, a Turkish survivor of WWII and the Bosnian 'conflict'. His home, which is over 300 years old, can be found by asking the shopkeepers in the old town (near the base of Stari Most). There is no phone and only the barest of electricity, but ask anybody in the Muslim Quarter and they will lead you there. The house features a 'historic' kitchen, antique furnishings, old books, and vintage clothing. |
