Uppsala Castle is located in Uppsala, Sweden. Construction of the castle was begun by King Gustav Vasa in the mid-1500s and the castle received its present form in 1757. Besides the Hall of State(the residence of the Governor of Uppsala), the castle holds the Uppsala Art Museum, the university's art collection, the governor's residence and the Sture Vault. The Sture Vault is also called "Vasa Vignettes" and is a wax museum.
