Vladivostok fortress is unique from the Russian sea fortresses kept in the territory of Russia. It is a unique monument of military - defensive architecture of the end of XIX-beginning of XX centuries. The guns of Vladivostok fortress for all the history didn’t make any shot on the enemy, because the enemy considered extremely unprofitable to enter in competition with so powerful fortifications. Now forts, redoubts and batteries of the Sea fortress Vladivostok are transformed into museum complexes.
