The Women`s Museum is a national, state-approved special museum covering women`s lives in recent cultural history. Since 1982 the Museum has collected and registered objects, photos, archival materials and recollections documenting the lives and activities of women in Denmark. The collection thus documents the fundamental changes that have occurred in the past 100-150 years in traditional women`s areas, for better or worse.
