Yale University Art Gallery houses its extensive collections and programs in a facility composed of several adjoining structures built between 1866 and 1976. Now, a multi-year, multi-phase construction project is renovating the gallery, its classrooms, conservation laboratories, and public exhibition spaces. The work reflects the importance of the gallery as a teaching museum and as a repository of extraordinary collections from around the world.
