The colours of autumn

This year, we have here in the area where I’m living an extraordinary colourful autumn. After a very hot July, the August was rainy and cold. September, when normally the plants begin to get dressed in the colours of autumn, summer came back with really high temperatures, but also enough rain, and what’s most important, with cool nights. It seems that the seasons this year were shifted by one month. So still now, it’s a real pleasure to be out in the forests and to enjoy uncredible colour games. The more it gets colder outside, the more the colours of the plants get warmer – isn’t it ? So, please have a look …

First some impressions from our forests, from just right and left of the street:

... the last bloom ...

...the last leave ...

... simply a leave ...

...the "fallen" chestnut ;-)

...waiting for a barbecue !

After a cold period, it became again summer. … the deceived chestnut tree.

... new life on the stub of a tree.

... life goes on, anyhow !!

As you see, I’m not the one, who prefers the enormous panorama views. I like most the details. Therefore I mainly take photos in “makro-setting”… in a distance of about 20 cms. The originals have dimensions of 2000 x 1500 pixel, which I simply reduce to about 600 x 800 pixel for the web – ok and sometimes I cut a part off.

What’s about the colours of this season where you live ? What is your general preference ?

I would really like to learn more about you, the other “hobby-photographers” here in the Infohub. Let us all participate, please.

Thanks and hope to read and get something to look from you, soon … very soon !

Gabi ... the camera always with me :{:-)

What a wonderful idea,

here some impressions of autumn from me.

First a picture I take in my garden.

Second a look out my frontdoor

This picture I take at 10th of October this year and I'm living at 54 paralell to north. The next picture is from the same day.

So many green we never had since the twentyfour years I'm living here at this time
