The adventures: We offer large number of excursions, ranging from a hard core Boiling lake trail or Waitikubuli trail to an easy day at the beach. Take the chance to discover the secrets of the rain forest and the beautiful nature that encompasses the whole of Dominica.
Boiling Lake: The best way to appreciate the great wilderness that is most of Dominica is to take an all day trek to the Boiling Lake. This is not for the unfit, this 5 mile each way hike (2.5 to 3 hours) is as strenuous as they get what with fordings of creeks, trails that disappear and reappear only to climb a scree hill and muddy steps about 2 feet high.
Whale watching: From November through March whales migrate through or hang out around Dominica. In the afternoons the dive boats direct their attentions towards the whales in the area west of the island. About 80% of the time they are successful.
Most of the medium sized whales have been spotted including orca whales, sperm whales, pilot whales and false killer whales. Dolphin is seen almost all the time as well. Bottlenose and spotted dolphing are common and sometimes the spinner dolphin will put on a show by surging into the air and making a spinning reentry.
