The Lodge operates as a fly-out resort - the only way to get anywhere is via float plane or helicopter, which you use of during your stay. Imagine waking up in the morning, selecting fishing or hiking spot on a map of the Yukon, and just minutes later, you are there with hundreds of square miles of wild Yukon country all to yourself.
Fishing at Inconnu Lodge is excellent to say the least. Twelve major rivers and streams and seventeen incredible lakes are all within a thirty minute flight from the Lodge by float plane or by helicopter. Seven species of fish make their homes in the waters around the Lodge. Fly fishing, spin casting or trolling can land beginner to professional fisherman lots of activity in the 5 to 30 LB class.
Built entirely of cedar, the main lodge is 6500 square feet, which includes the large dining room, conference room, lounge, bar, store, kitchen and laundry facility. The lounge has a beautiful vaulted ceiling that house a game tables, a pool table and a shuffle board table. A large sauna and hot tub await you by the lake, always a relaxing draw after a long Yukon day. The Lodge accommodates up to 12 guests in twin and triple rooms. Guest cabins are constructed of finished cedar, carpeted, and each with private washroom and shower facilities. Inconnu Lodge generates its own electricity, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
On all Inconnu Lodge lakes we use 14-16 foot boats equipped with 15-25 horsepower motors. For your sitting convenience, each boat has padded swivel seats. We also have two jet boats that make river and lake travel a breeze. An unforgettable Inconnu Lodge day can be spent traveling down a breathtaking stretch of river connecting two larger lakes. Inconnu Lodge also offers guided helicopter float trips using Mariva inflatable rafts. The Lodge utilizes a variety of canoes to access some of the local rivers as well. A large amount of other quality equipment (waders, lifejackets, spare oars, backpacks, etc.) for hiking, fishing and other Lodge activities is kept at Inconnu in our large equipment shed to accommodate guest's needs.
All Inconnu Lodge guests are accompanied by a guide, intimately familiar with all areas around the Lodge - fishing holes, hiking trails, outpost cabins - as well as emergency procedures. One guide is usually assigned to groups two fisherman and four to six hikers.

We are a fly in only wilderness resort. We are the only lodge for miles and we offer many different lake and river destinations as well as alpine helicopter hiking and side trips to Virginia Falls on the South Nahanni River. Other trips offered are river drift trips.
