Since 1978 Arthur & Trinette have welcomed international hunters to the greatest Kudu country in the world and home of the largest population of privately owned Kudu in Africa, their 50 000 acre malaria-free hunting estate, Blaauwkrantz, which is situated in South Africa's Eastern Cape! The Blaauwkrantz family pride themselves in the personal attention they are able to provide their clients.
M13967 is the gateway to 34 huntable species on Blaauwkrantz and the wider Eastern Cape. Their specialty is the Eastern Cape species, which include East Cape Kudu, Cape Grysbok, Springbok (Common, Black and White), Cape Bushbuck, Wildebeest (Blue and Black), Cape Eland, Vaal Rhebuck, Klipspringer, and many more. Caracal, Blue Duiker and Bushpig may be hunted with hounds and bird shooting and deep-sea fishing off Port Elizabeth can also be arranged.
Guests are accommodated in the spacious lodge on Blaauwkrantz, only a 40-minute drive from Port Elizabeth airport and sports a swimming pool, squash court and tennis court (ideal for groups). Or guests stay at our mountain lodge, Springvale, situated at the foothills of the Winterberg mountain range. This lodge is situated in the picturesque Mankazana valley; Vaal Rhebuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Springbok etc. are hunted solely by our clients in this area.
Because our two lodges are situated in such diverse areas, valley bushveld of Blaauwkrantz and grassland/thorn tree bush and mountainous terrain of Springvale, Blaauwkrantz Safaris is able to provide their clients with the highest quality trophy specimens; the Eastern Cape has to offer. By request, guests can stay exclusively in our lodges if the party consists of two or more hunters. Hunting group and families are welcome! Guests may also make use of our two beachfront condo's in Port Elizabeth close to the best city beaches in South Africa, restaurants, pubs, casino and entertainment centers as pre or post safari accommodation.

Port Elizabeth is only 45 minutes drive from lodge which is good for shopping. Various private game reserves and the Addo Elephant Park is within an hours drive from lodge and the Big Five can be viewed. A health and beauty spa is 20 minutes from the lodge.

We require a $1000 deposit per hunter and $500 deposit per observer to confirm a safari. No deposits will be refunded if client cancels the safari within 6 months of the contracted starting date, unless the safari can be rebooked. In all other instances, the deposit will be refunded less costs. Wounded animals must be paid for as per the trophy price list. Safari to be paid in full upon completion of hunt. All payments to be made in cash, certified bank drafts, bank guaranteed personal checks and by credit card.
