M13453 hides along the western slope of an island chain of the Rocky Mountains in southwestern Montana, less than an hour from Helena. Since the 1860's, our family has carved a living in the wild, open spaces of the West by raising cattle, sheep, hay, and grain. In 1965 we began offering adventure vacations for a limited number of guests. For a few guests, we still offer outdoor adventures - horseback riding, fishing, wildlife watching, hiking, historical tours, gold panning treks, ranch activities, cattle drives, photo safaris, and nature study - in the pristine setting of our ranch in the mountains of Montana.
The M13453 offers personalized vacations for just a few folks at a time. The splendid mix of riding, wildlife tours, and scenery beckons folks who wish to combine adventure, beauty, and serenity. Operated as a family working ranch since the 1860’s, the M13453 allows guests to learn new skills, find new friends, and enjoy their own ranch hideaway.
Property amenities:
The ranch offers lodging in two log cabins and the old lodge - all nestled along a creek with mountain peaks towering over the facility. All cabins have showers, electricity, and refrigerators. We serve family style meals at the nearby lodge.
Nearby attractions and activities:
Both Yellowstone & Glacier National Parks lie within 3 1/2 hours of the ranch. A restored ghost town is just two hours away while numerous museums including the state museum are within an hour’s drive. Almost every weekend there is a rodeo within two hours driving time from our ranch.

Policy:
33% deposit for reservation, 3 day minimum stay, desosits refunded with 90 days written notice, less a $200 cancellation fee, no smoking in cabins or lodge, no pets

Wildlife tours for the winter months - walk through the mountains with your camera and capture the wilds of Montana.
Three day antler hunting tours - whitetail antlers searches go on in January to mid February.
Elk antler searches begin in April and go until May.
