Mountain Trail is an idyllic small resort, set on a gentle hill slope of Mukteshwar, facing the Himalayas. Located in the middle of a 2-1-2 acre orchard of over a hundred fruit trees and beds of over 70 varieties of flowers along the walkways, it is just the kind of place where nature lovers love to spend their holidays. Mukteshwar is truly a round the year destination. In summer it has the ideal climate for a gateway, with pleasant days and cool nights. During monsoon months it is lush green, as far as the eyes can see. Although Mountain Trail is the only 'Classified Resort' in Mukteshwar (by the Dept. of Tourism, Govt. of India), it does not boast of luxury. It is however a charming place with all basic comforts & amenities, cleanliness, hygiene, delicious home-like simple food and courteous service.
