M18067 provides an idyllic base from which to explore the area, with its dramatic landscape, diverse flora & fauna and fascinating history. A varied, affordable safari experience, in a charming home-from-home environment nestling on the banks of the Limpopo.
With an established team of friendly staff and just 8 individually designed suites, we can offer our guests a personalized, relaxed and exciting stay.
All our suites have double or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms with bath and/or shower, indoor and outdoor sitting areas, and air conditioning.
Activities at this award-winning family-friendly lodge include game drives and bush walks with knowledgeable and experienced guides, hides situated at key sites in the reserve, community visits, opportunities to participate in conservation projects and ranger training courses.
Other facilities at the lodge include a large swimming pool, various decks for game viewing, curio shop and stunning bar built around an ancient Nyala berry tree.
Responsible tourism is key to the lodge’s philosophy, with a resident conservationist, on-site conservation center and an active community development programme.
When you’re not out in the bush, eating or sleeping, there’s plenty to do within the lodge:
-enjoy a refreshing dip in the large swimming pool, which has a small shallow section for children, beautifully positioned by a secluded rocky outcrop
-spot the wildlife visiting the pretty waterhole at the back of the lodge from the safety and comfort of our hide
-enjoy panoramic views of the reserve overlooking a baobab-studded plain from our ‘star deck’ atop one of the sandstone kopjes
-sit by the banks of the Limpopo to soak up the atmosphere and spot passing wildlife
-spend time chatting with our resident conservationist, Tanja, about our conservation and community projects or your particular areas of interest
-tour our conservation center with interesting displays on the area’s birds, mammals, reptiles, insects, geology, vegetation and astronomy
-visit our curio shop for a lovely selection of crafts, books, Tuli clothing or a copy of the great Tuli Choir CD to take home as a reminder!
