Our resort is located in the heart of the Etruscan Riviera, an area of Tuscany renowned for its clean, uncontaminated beaches and for its culturally and historically rich towns and villages inland. The 96 guest rooms, of which 5 suites face the sea or private park and are individually decorated with natural materials such as wood, leather and cotton. Many rooms have private balconies with sea views. Others face the garden or open onto a large common terrace.
The Resort has 96 rooms overlooking the Mediterranean brush of the park, the swimming pool or the beach. Rooms are divided in several categories: Classic rooms, standard sized rooms with bathroom; Superior rooms which are larger and have an additional couch or at times sofa-bed; Junior Suites, where bedroom and living room are separate and in some cases have a sofa-bed; and finally Suites, which have two bedrooms, one with queen bed and the other with French bed, two bathrooms, living room and covered terrace.
All rooms are individually decorated and equipped with electronic key card system, adjustable temperature, safe, hair dryer and mini-bar. For the guests’ entertainment all rooms feature Pay TV with a selection of movies in different languages, Internet Tv to surf the web while some rooms also feature Satellite TV. Bedrooms can be with queen bed or twin beds, and bathrooms may have bathtub, shower or in many cases both. Two rooms in the hotel are fitted with Jacuzzi.
The five Suites of the Resort, which are named after Leghorn's famous painters, are also individually decorated. The Ghiglia Suite has ethnic furnishings and a bathroom completely decorated in mosaic. The Lloyd Suite is entirely tinted in fuchsia, down to the classic Luis XVI armchairs for a pleasing “kitsch” look. The Puccini Suite is painted in warm sand shades which evoke the desert, a pleasant contrast with the modern white furniture and the abstract paintings. The Benvenuti Suite has an oriental touch with fresh pastel tints, rattan futon and arabesque decors. The most traditional, the Nomellini Suite, has warm beige walls with paintings of the Tuscan countryside.
The Corallo restaurant offers high quality cuisine with dishes from the local and Mediterranean tradition prepared with selected ingredients from neighboring estates. The Resort also features a Terrace with breathtaking view of the sea where our guests can enjoy drinks and relax with lounge music and candlelight. Wine lovers will find a wide selection of first-rate Tuscan, national and international wines served at our Wine Bar with high quality hors d’ouvres, cheeses and cured meats.
Located in the Resort’s lobby the Bar Hall and the Wine Bar offer a various taste of regional wines which are paired with hors d¹oeuvres, cheeses, and cured meats. During the summer is possible to relax in the panoramic terrace overlooking the see. The Wellness and Thalassotherapy Center offer Guests the pleasure of bathing in warm sea water pools in a grotto all year long and a series of thalassic treatments with essential oils, algae, mud and salts as well as oriental massages, relaxation and aesthetic treatments.
Our Spa is the first step on a path to wellbeing and relaxation. It specializes in Thalassotherapy and offers treatments brimming with the benefits of sea water, sea salts, algae, and sea mud. In an enchanting grotto are five pools containing warm sea water gathered 900 meters off the coast. The pools are equipped with modern hydro-thermal machinery like sea water jet showers, underwater hydro-massages, hydro-massage beds and Kneipp circuit. The Spa also offers relaxing, slimming, beauty and skin-care programmes and treatments.
In an enchanting grotto are five sea water treatment pools, each designed for a specific healing purpose. The Hydro-massage Pool uses jet showers and underwater massage beds to knead muscles; the hot-and-cold water cycle of the Kneipp Pool stimulates blood circulation; and the Emotional Pool, which has a high level of salinity, is used for treatments that require buoyancy.
A relaxing haven offering silence, shade and peace, the open-air swimming pool is a seawater lagoon surrounded by vegetation. On one side, set in the rocks and immersed in the water, there’s a bar offering snacks and refreshing cold drinks. On the other, a small waterfall leading into the thalassotherapy grotto soothes our guest with its trickle. A little further off the kid’s pool is shaded by pines, cedars and junipers, and is the ideal place for children to swim safely and enjoy themselves.
The Turkish and Roman Baths, completely decorated in mosaic, and the two Finnish Saunas, one for men and one for women, have natural lighting and pleasant scents diffused in the air. The Relaxation Room completes the Thalasso Itinerary and offers a quiet place to lay down and rest drinking fruit juices and teas. The gym features the most modern equipment for guests who whish to follow a full exercise program under the supervision of our Spa team.
The Resort features two conference rooms for conventions and meetings. The Piero Ieri room, up to 70 seating places in theater disposition, is fitted with modern technical equipment. Just steps away, the eclectic Sala Cobalto boasts up to 170 places in theater disposition and a dazzling floor decorated with tropical fish. This room can be used not only as meeting room but also as restaurant, bar, exhibit space and nightclub.
