Nestled along the banks of the beautiful Macal River is this tiny "village" of ten casitas, or small bungalows, each on a raised platform with airy peak-roofs, full screens and containing two comfortable beds with clean linens and towels. Each casita has a private sheltered porch for quiet relaxation and peaceful views into the undisturbed jungle habitat. Local cooks provide delicious Belizean meals and knowledgeable staff are on hand to explain the wonders of the forest.
The camp is approximately a half mile from the lodge, ensuring privacy without isolation. A large thatched dining and recreation area and hot showers ensure comfort after a day of hiking, canoeing, or just relaxing in the wilderness.
