You will have a fine opportunity to explore the great outdoors in an unspoiled environment from the back of your horse. Qualified wranglers, good horses, and unique mountain trails in the wilderness excite horseback riders of all ages and abilities.
Eagles Nest Lodge, perched on top of a 300 foot cliff, is a 20' x 50' room with circular fireplace intersecting the middle of the room. It is friendly gathering place for guests and staff alike, to kick back, enjoy the view, browse in the library, or visit with new friends. Cookies, fresh fruit, and drinks are always available.

Lodge Rooms:
Four A-frame rooms over the lodge offer a queen bed, bunk bed, private bathroom with shower,
table, refrigerator, and a balcony with a spectacular view.
Three Cabins:
All cabins offer 1 bedroom with queen bed, sleeping loft with two twin beds, private bathroom with a shower/tub, living room, couch, table, and a small refrigerator.
In addition, Absaroka Cabin has a screened-in porch accessible by an interior ladder.
Both Absaroka and Beartooth Cabins are set back in the trees for maximum privacy.
Carbonate Cabin is more deluxe with a kitchenette, wood burning stove, and a view of the valley.

Evening Activities in a wilderness setting. You're free to walk or hike wilderness trails, bird-watch, or admire a vast array of wildflowers.
Wildlife sightings occur frequently, such as elk and their young, moose, coyotes, and occasionally, a bear.
Play horseshoes, volleyball, board games in lodge, read, or simply do nothing.

Hiking
- A 4x4 ride to a ghost town and gold mines,
- A scenic boat float on the Yellowstone River, and "cowboy" cookouts and campfires allow guests to experience the wilderness first-hand.

We are 42 miles south of Big Timber.
Policy:
Our season runs from June through September for summer guests, and hunting season, generally starts mid-October.
All activites, meals and lodging are included with our competitive rates.
Weekly rates - Sunday through Sunday
June through July 5 bookings are at a 15% discount with advance payment by June 1st.
A deposit of $700 is required to hold your booking.
A 1.75% accomodations tax will be added.
A 15% service charge is recommended -- to be divided equally among all the staff.
If you arrive late -- different from your reserved dates, you are still responsible for the total number of days booked. May we suggest travel insurance?
