The lodge complex has electricity and all chalets and public areas are equipped with overhead fans. All windows and sliding doors have protective mosquito netting. The pool chalets surround a large swimming pool whilst the family chalets are set back in lush indigenous garden. All are tastefully furnished and have en-suite bathrooms. The pool rooms have sliding doors which lead onto spacious balconies. The Dunes Camp can sleep up to fourteen people in five rustic chalets.
The Camp is self-catering and has a dining area, kitchen, braai, and swimming pool. The camp is fully serviced, with a butler on hand to help with food preparation. The Casarao consists of four en-suite bedrooms, a lounge/ kitchen/ dining area and an extended covered balcony. The Casarao is also self-catering and is fully serviced. Casa Madeira consists of two bedrooms sleeping 4 with a bathroom, kitchen/lounge/dining area and a balcony. The Casa Madeira is also fully serviced.

Guests have a choice of fishing the tidal estuary, the surf, the reefs, or the deep blue sea. Canoing, birdwatching, diving, whale watching and river cruises are other optional activities offered at the lodge.
