Wollaston Lake, located in the wilds of Saskatchewan’s rugged northern frontier, is home to Minor Bay Lodge & Outposts. Wollaston Lake has long been renowned for its unparalleled trophy pike fishery – Canada’s freshwater barracuda. Minor Bay Lodge offers top drawer service, comfortable accommodations, quality equipment and matchless dining experiences in a pristine wilderness setting. While Minor Bay is remote, it is nevertheless readily accessible from all major U.S. cities, with Northwest Airlines and Air Canada/United servicing Saskatoon with several flights daily. From Saskatoon it’s a pleasant 1-3/4 hour direct charter flight to an airport near the lodge. Located in pristine wilderness less than 150 miles from the Northwest Territories, Minor Bay Lodge offers its guests a five-star wilderness fishing and wildlife viewing adventure.

The lodge’s capacity has been intentionally limited to just 18 guests to ensure personalized, friendly service, a relaxed atmosphere and limited fishing pressure. With exceptional staff, facilities and equipment as well as an outstanding natural resource, Minor Bay Lodge is the preferred choice for discerning anglers. Minor Bay has undergone a number of changes in the past six years, including the construction of two new modern cabins. These two cabins are designed for groups of 4-8 and feature a sauna and whirlpool, as well as large meeting area and fully modern washrooms.

Our kitchen and lodge staff strive to offer the best service possible, from our chef who continuously treats us to new gourmet delights to our servers who know that you may prefer margarine instead of butter on your toast, to the bartender who remembers you like two olives in your very dry vodka martini.

Note: Outpost package prices are based on a minimum of four people. Surcharges apply as follows. For three guests a charge of $100 per person, for two guests, a charge of $150 applies.

- Roundtrip air transportation between Saskatoon and Points North Landing
- Ground transfers in Saskatoon and at the lodge
- Daily guided fishing in comfortable 18' or 20' boats equipped with casting decks, floorboards and swivel seats
