Our diving resort is personal, private and relaxing, offering 18 air-conditioned cabanas, all with private, oceanfront porches. Nestled within 1,300 acres of island forest, the resort sits on two miles of private, white sand beach. This long-established resort, acclaimed for scuba diving and snorkeling, recently added an array of eco-friendly activities, including nature trails, guided sea kayaking and an on-site marine biologist to help visitors understand the amazing undersea world of Belize.
We offer all-inclusive 3, 4, and 7-night stays in our standard, superior, or deluxe cabanas. All our private air-conditioned cabanas offer a porch and swinging hammock, facing the eastern Caribbean Sea. Each individual cabana has ceiling fans, one or two beds, nightstands and closet area. The baths are modern and equipped with hot showers. Deluxe cabanas have large sitting areas and other amenities, while families often like our Duplex or Triplex with adjoining bedrooms and shared porch. We now offer free WiFi internet access in all our rooms!

We are one of the closest resorts to the famous Blue Hole! 7 and 4-night packages include a trip to the Blue Hole on Tuesdays (weather permitting). This is a full day excursion with a visit to Lighthouse Reef's Half Moon Caye Natural Monument to see the red-footed booby sanctuary.
Blackbird Caye Eco-Resort is located on Turneffe Atoll, approximately 30 miles off the coast of Belize City.
Transfers to and from the resort are schedule for Wednesdays and Saturdays. Guests must arrive to Belize City airport by 3:00pm on their arrival day in order to make the transfer to the resort. Departure from the resort is approximately 8:30 am, therefore guests may arrange their departure flight from Belize City anytime after 12:30 pm.
Children 6 and under are free and ages 7-11 half price when sharing a room with parents. Children 12 and older are full price. No discounts for certified divers under the age of 12.
$500 per person deposit required at the time of booking, balance due 60 days prior to arrival.
- 90 days or more prior to departure: $200 per person cancellation fee retained by resort
- 89 to 60 days prior to departure: $500 per person cancellation fee retained by resort
- 59 to 31 days prior to departure: 50% of total trip fee retained by resort
- 30 days or less: no monies will be refunded.

Scuba Diving Packages, 3, 4 and 7-nights: More than 70 dive sites within a 15-minute boat ride offer spectacular diving including the renowned "The Elbow", "Calabash Cut", and "Oasis". Three dives a day are included with each package. A trip to the Blue Hole is regularly scheduled on Tuesdays (weather permitting) and included as part of all 4 and 7-night packages. Free Nitrox diving is available for those who are certified. We also offer PADI certification courses, including: open water, advanced open water, refresher courses, referral courses and a large variety of continuing education courses. We have a complete dive shop with rental gear available.
Snorkeling Packages, 3, 4 and 7-nights: We provide two boat trips per day to the best local snorkeling sites, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, which are included in the Snorkel package. In addition, on Tuesdays we visit Belize's famed Blue Hole and Half Moon Caye, great places for both snorkeling and diving! Stingrays, groupers, eagle rays, nurse sharks and myriads of brightly-colored reef fish highlight the reef.
Guided Expedition Kayaking Package, 7-nights: This guided adventure is designed to introduce the beginner to a great way of exploration as well as offering skilled paddlers challenges they relish. Morning and afternoon paddles to different parts of the atoll for snorkeling and exploration including orchid lined mangrove creeks, coral gardens and uninhabited cayes. Instruction and double ocean kayaks are provided, some single kayaks are available. No previous kayak experience is needed to participate. Meet some of the friendly local residents of this remote atoll. The protected, shallow waters of Turneffe are an ideal area for our adventure.
