"Stara horaren" - Old Hunting Cabin is a tranquil retreat snuggled comfortably in one of the most attractive localities of mountainous Slovakia - Slovak Paradise National Park situated in the eastern part of Slovakia. As the name itself implies you can enter the real natural paradise with manifold natural beauties.

Mountain cottage Stara Horaren is 170 years old family cottage tucked away in Lanyiho Huta 3 km from Dobsina (old mining
town), 45 km from town of Poprad or 27 km from town of Roznava.
As the name itself implies you can enter the real natural paradise with manifold natural beauties such as:
- The Dobsinska Ice Cave (11 km) - the world unique phenomenon, recorded on the list of the World Natural Heritage UNESCO
- The Ochtinska Aragonit Cave (22 km)
- The Krasnohorska Cave (32) - visiting cave is possible only with a caver guide.There is any artificial lightening, any electricity, only narrow path, benches over stream and lake. You can move only with ropes in some parts of cave.
- Castle Krasna Horka (32) - is a National Cultural Monument
- Betliar - (15) - in the manor house there is a museum of historical flat culture, furniture from the 15-17-th century, classicistic and empire equipment.
- Spis castle (42) - With its area of 41426 m2 it is at the same time one of the largest castles in the Central Europe.
