Open Water Course. Upon completion of this course you will be awarded the PADI Open Water Diver certification card, enabling you to dive almost anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 18 meters with another suitably qualified diver. Throughout the course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive theory, dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing confined water dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water dives. This approach will ensure that you'll have fun, become comfortable in the underwater world and dive safely.
The Junior Open Water Diver course for children from 10-15 years is the same program as for adults. However, the junior diver must dive with a certified adult (10 and 11 year olds with a parent or dive professional) to the age of 15 and are limited to a depth of 12 meters.
Student Referrals / Open Water Dives. Complete your theory and pool work at your local PADI facility, then join us at Puerto Rico Diving to complete your four open water training dives for final certification. Please mention that we are in Puerto Rico Gran Canaria Spain.
