New Mexico State University, Corona Range and Livestock Research Center has decided to start an intense Trophy Mule Deer and Antelope management program, and I'm excited to be a part of it. Were looking for a few hunters to help us achieve our goal, which is to be one of the best trophy mule deer and antelope hunting operations in New Mexico.
In that time I have seen some excellent mule deer harvested in the 150 to the high 190 Boone Crockett scoring class. The kill ratio is in the high 90% range. It's one of the best managed ranches in New Mexico and covers 44 sections of prime Mule Deer & Antelope country. Tour Itinerary: The ranch is located approximately 190 miles northeast of Las Cruces and 8 miles east of the village of Corona. The ranch occupies land in the southeast corner of Torrance and the north central part of Lincoln counties where some of the biggest desert Mule Deer are harvested each year. This is the kind of hunting opportunity that does not come around often. We will use spot and stalking techniques, along with still hunting watering holes and game trails and other proven techniques. The elevation ranges from approximately 5,701 to 6,720 feet. There could be some thirty minute to one hour long walks. You will need to be in moderate shape. Notes:
