For the past 26 years we've been offering guided one-day hikes in NY, NJ, CT, PA, & MA most Saturdays & Sundays year-round, and wilderness camping trips (3-5 days) in the northeastern states approximately once a month from May through September. The trips range in difficulty from easy to strenuous. All trips are guided by hiking expert and licensed guided Charles Cook, who has led more than 1250 trips over the years and is the author of 5 published books about hiking and outdoor activities.
Our trips attract an interesting and friendly group of people who range from beginners to seasoned outdoors people interested in discovering some new hiking areas and trails. We have a huge repertory of different locations on our schedule each year, and while we visit lots of well-known mountain areas and trails, many of our itineraries are off the beaten path and include little-known scenic gems.
