Big Water Season (March 15th - May 26th) - Early Spring rafting is some of the biggest rafting anywhere. As the snow melts the river rises and the rafting gets bigger and bigger. Class VI has four sections of river to run during this season and our river manager will put you on the best section running. Join us for "Grand Canyon style whitewater in our Big Water Season.
May 14th Happy Mother's Day - Mom goes free with one paying guest and 10% of all dinner sales are donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. On Saturday, August 19th, 2006, Class VI will offer classic whitewater rafting one-day trips on the Lower New River Gorge National River, which includes rapids that can be rated from Class 3 to Class 5, or milder trips on sections of the Upper New River featuring mostly Class 1 and 2 rapids. Whether you like high adventure or an introduction to mild whitewater, our reservation staff can book the trip which best suits your needs. Class VI will donate half the rafting trip's fee on this day to the The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The Komen Foundation is fighting to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. In addition to funding research, the Foundation and our West Virginia Affiliate supports education, screening and treatment programs throughout West Virginia and around the world. Guests, who choose not to raft, may make a contribution toward the cause of supporting breast cancer patient support services by calling our office. At the end of the day, plan on dining with us at our full service restaurant, Smokey's On the Gorge. College Spring Specials (March 1st – May 12th) - Early Spring Special – One-day Lower New trip.
