Solo Travelers:
For years, Centennial has sponsored singles adventure travel trips connecting people with common interests and a love for the outdoors. There is a special group bonding that occurs by the end of a canoe trip or sea kayak trip which makes them very popular with solo travelers. Star Gazing: Away from all the city lights, the wilderness night sky is unbelievably clear and you’ll be amazed at all the constellations. Don't miss this opportunity to gaze at the heavens, watch the meteor shower & learn from Tito Salas, our astronomy expert from Fiske Planetarium. This will be Tito's fifth year as trip instructor and our customers always rave about his knowledge of astronomy and his humor. Tito will also be giving a private lecture to trip participants and friends at the Fiske Planetarium on the University of Colorado campus in Boulder, CO, to help familiarize them with the skies. Team Building: Paddling down a river introduces a natural environment for communicating and working together as a team, maneuvering boats down the river, putting the camp together, telling jokes, singing around a campfire, having water fights and releasing creative energy. There is always a special bonding that occurs within the group by the end of the trip as they have shared many experiences together outside the normal office environment. We can provide the experienced team-building facilitator and the exercises that are incorporated while canoeing or sea kayaking on the river and while at camp. Please call our office to book your team trip. Wine Tasting: Join Doug and Sue Phillips, owners of the Plum Creek Winery in Palisade, Colorado, for a delightful weekend of wine tasting and education. Plum Creek is Colorado's most award-winning winery and has received over 325 awards. They continue to excel in international, national and regional competition. They will feature their favorites and explain which wines compliment which foods. Adults only. Women Only: Sometimes it's nice not having to deal with the opposite gender for a couple of days. Imagine a weekend with no cell phones or makeup and waking up to the sound of the river. Join our yearly Women's Retreat, aka "Floating Women's Convention" and make new friends or catch up with old ones! Notes:
