ScubaTech Diving Centre
For many people the first trial dive leaves them well and truly hooked. Many decide to pursue this sport further by taking a certification course that will enable them to qualify as a competent diver.
The courses are as exciting as they are fun and consist of a structured programme of theory, practical and open water dives during which the students learn how to use SCUBA equipment.
Courses vary slightly in duration but all lead to the award of an International Diving Certificate, the possession of which enables the diver to buy or rent equipment and enjoy diving anywhere around the world. For the experienced diver a full range of Advanced and Specialty Courses are available.
Diving for Beginners
Imagine a world in which you enter a brand new medium. Where you suddenly become weightless, able to move effortlessly in three dimensions, amongst plants and animal life vibrant in colour and rich in variety.

Experienced Divers
With its rocky covers, underwater caves, grottos and drop-offs, as well as a generous scattering of World War Two wrecks, the Maltese islands a wide range of dive sites to the experienced diver.
With a sea temperature that even during the winter months rarely falls below 15C, Malta offers year round diving for the enthusiastic wishing to participate in our accompanied dives. These include frequent boat trips to the deep and impressive waters surrounding Gozo and Comino.
Unaccompanied Divers
Qualified divers who have the intention of hiring equipment to dive on their own must be in possession of a local Dive Permit.
This can be obtained for you on presentation of the following:
1. Copy of qualifications (minimum Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent )
2. Two passport size photographs
3. Copy of current medical certificate
4. A completed application form
5. Lm2 registration fee.
