Ultimate Whitewater:
The Ultimate Whitewater departs daily from our office in Golden, BC. A short and scenic driver to our Private River Launch Site is followed by a safety talk and gear distribution. Prepare to get soaked on the Middle Canyon of the Kicking Horse. The rapids are relentless Class 3 and Class 4 including Portage, Shotgun, Roller Coaster and MANY more! Our adrenaline filled rafts are then loaded and an unrunnable section of the Kicking Horse is driven around.
Our Launch site to the Lower Canyon is dramatic, with the entire river constricting into the steep and thrilling Lower Canyon. Large waves dominate this section, Bar None BC’s Best and Biggest Whitewater Action. 4km of continuous Class 4+ thrills allows plenty of opportunities to get soaked, laugh and enjoy the rugged beauty of the Lower Canyon. Following the Lower Canyon we shuttle our guests back to our office, where a chance to relax, enjoy the scenery andn have a BBQ is always an option!
The Ultimate Whitewater is recommended for first-time and seasoned rafters who are 16 years of age!
Arrival back at our office in Golden is approximately at 4:30 PM MST
Daily Whitewater:
Our Daily Whitewater Adventure has all the ingredients for an unforgettable river experience! Our day begins on the calmer sections of the Kicking Horse River in beautiful Yoho National Park. Our morning finds us rolling along sparkling glacial waters and learning to work as a team. Our knowledgeable guides provide interesting river knowledge, area history and hone your skills for the afternoon’s excitement!
The morning portion lasts 1 ½ and our Riverside BBQ Lunch awaits us! Following the feast it’s time for the thrilling whitewater and spectacular scenery of the Middle Canyon. The tempo picks up dramatically as we enter the Class III & Class IV rapids of the Middle Canyon. Rapids include Portage, Shotgun, Twin Towers and MANY more! Join us for a full day of excitement and ride a whitewater roller coaster second to none! Recommended for first-time and seasoned rafters!
Arrival back at our office is at approximately 3:00 PM MST.
