Our Diving Center is the only diving center in Playa Tamarindo open 7 days/week. We offer SSI and Padi full certification courses, small groups of divers, extended bottom time, personalized service, snorkeling expeditions everyday and lots of water activities, multilingual staff and other.
Tamarindo is located in the province of Guanacaste, on Costa Rica's northwest Pacific coast. Driving time from the capital city, San Jose', is 5 hours on paved roads. The new international airport in Liberia, Guanacaste, is just 45 minute drive from town.
The Tamarindo airport is located 2 miles outside the village, with an air trip service 7days a week by two airlines, Sansa, the national one, and Natureair, a private one. You will take just a 45 minute flight from San Jose.
What we offer:
* Snorkeling: We do snorkeling tours by boat, leaving from Tamarindo to the North to the best virgin beaches, such as Playa Carbon, Playa Real and finally the popular Playa Conchal. The tour takes you 4 hours and includes snorkeling equipment, drinks and snacks.
* Renting Scuba Equipment: We rent all the equipment to divers that preferred not to carry their own one You can choose between the best brands of 15 full equipments of all the sizes, from XXS to XXL. We also offer fin, masks, snorkels for snorkelers and wetsuits for surfers.
We carry only well serviced, name brand equipment from US divers, Mares, Cressi, Quiksilver, as well as other top brands. Tanks are 80 cu ft (12 liters) aluminum. All tanks have current visual and hydrostatic tests and use regular K-valve and DIN valve. We can help you to choose the best deal if you like to rent.
After diving you may be interested in enjoying other water sports like surfing and kayaking, or riding a quad over the hills surrounding Playa Tamarindo.
We have special vacations packages that offer hotel accommodation, scuba diving, sport fishing, surf, etc. You just need to let us know the activities you prefer and we will prepare your personalized "all inclusive package "or, if you prefer, we will just organize your transfers, accommodations and scuba diving tours. Tamarindo has several typical and international restaurants, try them!
