Bradford Camps has been a traditional sporting camp in northern Maine since 1890 catering to the true sportsman and naturalist alike. The camps occupy pristine Munsungan Lake, which is our primary water for native brook trout, landlocked salmon and lake trout. Eight comfortable cabins are vintage log construction complete with full bath and are cleaned daily. The lodge serves hearty and delicious breakfasts, lunches and suppers.
We offer guided bear hunting during the beginning of September. We have 70,000 acres exclusive to us, and 35 stands total on that land. The bear are big and plentiful and we usually offer 100% opportunity to our serious hunters. October is Partridge month. Thousands of miles of old logging roads make the North Maine Woods a wild grouse hunters paradise. Bring your dogs (if you have them) and/or take a guide for a great hunt in the Great North Woods. Our deer hunting in November is in the wildest woods Maine has to offer. The varied topography and ecology around Munsungan make these woods a big buck haven for which northern Maine is well known. 100% success has been the rule for our Moose hunts. By road, by canoe, by foot, our guided hunts are the most thrilling hunt imaginable. Indeed, a Maine Moose is the trophy of a lifetime. All this is wrapped up in the beauty of the North Maine Woods and the hospitality of a traditional sporting camp. We look forward to sharing it with you. Notes:
