OVERVIEW:
The Instructor Development Course (IDC) can be divided into two parts: the first part is the Assistant Instructor Course (AI) and the second is the Open Water Scuba Instructor Course (OWSI). This opens up the possibility of becoming either an AI or an OWSI from the Divemaster level.
For those who are Instructors from other Scuba Training Organisations and wish to crossover to PADI you only need to do the OWSI course.
After the IDC, candidates require to sit and pass a PADI Instructor Examination (IE) conducted by PADI staff before obtaining the ranking of PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. There is an IE scheduled in Mallorca directly after each IDC.

* Medical Certificate
* Be a Divemaster P.A.D.I or equivalent

It is important to highlight that this is a FULL TIME course. Do NOT expect this to be a holiday!
