Nitrox diving has been around for more then 100 years and concentrates highly on the safety of the diver. Prerequisites for the Nitrox II Diver course are the Advanced Open Water certificate or equivalent and medical paper from the doctor.
The course includes some physiological and psychological theory of diving with Nitrox, proper gas blending and handling from 22% to 100%, gas measurements, preparation and cleaning of diving equipment, the techniques for technical diving and a written exam. Further on you must do two dives that totals minimum 100 minutes.
The course also includes book, Nitrox bottle fills, and advice on the proper adjustments for your dive equipment. The course could also be combined with the Self Rescue Diver course.
