The Open Water Referral is for those students that only want to make the theory and confined water part of the Open Water certification and then do the Open Water dives abroad. This is highly appreciated in the winter months, when the water temperature is cooler. The course consists of 5 theory modules and 5 confined water modules.
First we start with a short theoretical briefing about the diving gear, the basic principles , hand signals and safety rules about scuba diving. After donning your gear, we start with the pool session, during which you will experience what it's like to breath and float underwater. You will learn some basic skills, which give you a feel what an Open Water Course will be like.
