The canyon winds through National Forest and is surrounded by rugged cliffs and dense forest. This river contains powerful waves, numerous rocks, and difficult passages where precise maneuvering is required. We offer 4 different trips.
Lower Taylor - Class I and II. Approximately 2 1/2 hour oar or paddle trip. Great for families with small children. Must weigh 30 lbs. Great scenery.
Upper Taylor - CLASS III. Approximately half day paddle trip. Must be 12 years old. An exciting white water trip great for beginners and intermediates alike. Our most popular trip.
