The picturesque village of Gocek is situated in a most lovely way in front of the mountainous scenery of the gulf of Fethiye. Wharfs have been established all around and the promenade is very neat and well-kept. Bars and restaurants are lining up in beautiful surroundings and an amazing atmosphere. The transfer from Dalaman airport to the Marina takes only approx.20 minutes. Gocek is the ideal starting point for a sailing trip to the gulf of Fethiye - innumerable bays, tiny islands in the midst of lush surroundings. The gulf of Fethiye is a sailing territory with crystal-clear waters and safe bays, no matter what weather conditions there are.
After leaving the gulf of Fethiye you’ll discover towards the east “Olu Deniz”, probably the most famous and most photographed bay in Turkey. Bypassing seven capes along the sandy beach of Patara with an impressive length of about 15 km you’ll reach Kalkan or Kas, two charming, small ports. Both towns are perfect spots to start your sightseeing trip to the monuments of the ancient lycian capital "Xanthos" or the historical temple grounds of "Letoon" and the sandy dune of "Patara". Further to the east you’ll arrive at Kekova. Attractions at this shipyard of the same name are the historical castle, the sunken city and "Kale-Ücagiz", a small and romantic village with excellent fish restaurants. From here you can visit the church St. Nikolaus in "Demre" and "Myra". Leaving the gulf of Fethiye and heading direction west-northwest you’ll arrive at “Ekincik” bay. There you’ll have the possibility to take an enjoyable boat ride crossing the reeds to reach "Kaunos". Next destination of your journey will be "Marmaris", with most modern Marinas and the whole range of shopping opportunities. Member discount: Notes:
