Unlike many countries where fishing is restricted due to land ownership, in the Czech Republic the majority of waters are owned by the Czech Fishing Union and fishing is unrestricted whether the river flows through an International Golf Course as in Cihelny or any other land.
An angler in the Czech Republic has the right to roam freely along Union waters without restriction.
Fish species in the Czech Republic tend to be the typical fish found in Northern Europe with a few other species coming from the south of Europe due to some rivers in the Czech Republic taking a southerly course into the Mediterranean and Black Seas.
