So you are a coarse fisherman looking for a relaxing break or a club looking for somewhere different to hold the annual fishing trip. Coarse fishing in the Czech Republic is permissable from the 1st May until the 15th March inclusive (dependant on water type). The Czech Republic offers excellent coarse fishing in its rivers, lakes, ponds and reservoirs.
The rivers of the Czech Republic are so well stocked with coarse fish that in many cases the general closed season to protect the fish during the breeding season has been shortened to just 6 weeks. The rivers and ponds are brimming with good sized Rudd, Roach, Chub, Barbel, Tench, Perch, Bream and many other species of coarse fish.
