Our sailing classes and sailing lessons are taught by ASA certified instructors who are licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard. They will provide you with the knowledge and sense of accomplishment that comes from learning to be the captain of your own sailboat.
Our Sailing Lessons:
BKB 101 - Basic Keelboat Sailing (2 Days)
Class Description: You will be able to sail a boat in light to moderate winds and sea conditions in familiar waters without supervision. This is a preparatory standard with no auxiliary power or navigational skills required.
BCC 103 - Basic Coastal Cruising (2 days)
Class Description: You will be able to cruise safely in local and regional waters as both skipper and crew on board auxiliary powered sailboats up to 30 feet in length in moderate wind and sea conditions. Prerequisites - Basic Keelboat Sailing Certification.
BBC 104 - Bareboat Chartering (3 Days)
Class Description: This advanced cruising Standard is for individuals with cruising experience. You will be able to act as skipper or crew of a 30-50 foot boat sailing by day in coastal waters. Prerequisites - Basic Keelboat Sailing and Basic Coastal Cruising Certification.
NAV 105 - Coastal Navigation (2 Days)
Class Description: You will demonstrate the navigational theory required to safely navigate a vessel in coastal or inland waters.
ACC 106 - Advanced Coastal Cruising (3 Days)
Class Description: You will be able to act as skipper and crew of a 30 to 50 foot sailing vessel by day and night in coastal and inland waters. Prerequisites - Basic Keelboat Sailing, Basic Coastal Cruising, Bareboat Chartering and Coastal Navigation Certifications.
