Sailfish in Costa Rica are in great number and are the most popular quarry off the coast of Quepos. Sailfish (genus Istiophorus) is fish living in all the oceans of the world. They are blue to gray in color and is a rapidly growing fish, growing four to five feet in a single year. Imagine the excitement and thrill of snaring one of these ocean's marvel during your tour.
Tour Itinerary: The high season is November through April, however the fishing is phenomenal all year round and the hotel and villas rates are reduced dramatically so it makes it very economical for families and anglers to travel during the green season as well. We primarily fish the waters off Quepos World Renowned as the Sailfishing Capital. The boats primarily run between 18-23 miles offshore for Sailfish, Marlin, Wahoo, Dorado and Tuna. When fishing inshore, you can expect to catch Rooster fish, Snapper, Snook, Cubera. We operate all year round. Notes:
