All dives in Dahab are guided dives. It is not allowed to dive any site without a Dahab registered and renewed divemaster. In the past there have been some accidents with divers wishing to go deeper than they should, so this rule has been established to prevent future mishaps.
The added benefit is that you will dive with a very experienced and professional divemaster who knows all the ins and outs of the site, and who will be able to brief you in great detail on the Red Sea and the underwater life you will see. Some dives require Advanced Open Water training (such as Canyon and Blue Hole).
