Held over a day or a weekend, the course will not only cover the Southern Cross Yachting introductory certificate it will show you the basics to safely and competently plan your holiday. All reputable charter operators recognise our training and our experienced Skippers can give you advice on everything from what clothes to take to where the best pubs are! These are fun and informative weekends so bring the whole crew along.
The course can be taken in one full-day sailing or as a weekend away with the yacht spending the night at anchor and enjoying the delights of some night sailing. The 1-day course includes lunch and morning and afternoon tea and the weekend course includes all meals on board. At the Southern Cross Yachting we teach sailing in the simplest and most enjoyable way possible so you will not only learn more, you will have a great time doing it!
