The descent is in the blue where there is no reference to the reef since it is visible only at about 50-60ft (15-18m). The top of the attoll starts at 80-90. There is a school of resident barracudas which I have missed only twice in ten dives here. You can wait at corners of the atoll for large tunas that feed on fusiliers. Huge and colorful fan corals deck the attoll. Nurse sharks have also been spotted here as well as a great hammerhead at the highway.
