Our center’s principal aim is tourism and leisure. Exploration is our specialty. But it’s also possible to earn your certification for level 1 (CMAS, CEDIP/ANMP, PADI) as well as levels 2, 3 and advanced, depending on the club’s times available. We are equipped with: 3 zodiacs, 10 meters long (about 20 feet) including one hard bottom for long –distance excursions and their powerful motors guarantee speed. Our boats meet with international safety standards: surface surveillance, oxygenation-therapy, first aid kits.
There is a whole range of lodging available from family run bed-and-breakfasts (pensions) which offer a quality service at a reasonable price to the Kia ora village, the only large hotel. All lodgings are within fifteen kilometers (nine miles) of the dive center.
